Should You Get One?
If you want a smoother, competition-ready trigger while staying within factory specs, the Glock Trigger is a solid choice. However, if you carry your Glock for self-defense, be mindful that a lighter trigger pull might not be ideal for defensive situations.
The highlight of our annual pilgrimage to SHOT in Las Vegas was the release of the Glock Performance System.
Now, before you get too excited—this upgrade won’t turn your trusty G19 Gen5 into an STI/Staccato. It’s an improvement, but not a complete transformation. The Glock Performance T is an add-on, meaning new Glocks will still come with standard triggers out of the box.
We had the chance to test the new Glock 47 equipped with the Performance Trigger, and here’s our take:

If you’ve ever swapped out the factory connector for the 2kg lighter version, spent time polishing the trigger bar after a deep dive into YouTube tutorials—and got it right—that’s pretty much how the Glock Performance Trigger feels. The flatter trigger face provides better finger placement, the break is noticeably crisper, and the reset feels more controlled.
One major advantage? Since it’s a Glock OEM product, it won’t void your warranty. However, it does require installation by a certified Glock armorer.
